PENETRATION TESTING

Penetration testing and security assessment

Razban's testers attack your websites, systems and network the way a real intruder would, so you find the vulnerabilities before someone else does. You get a report that ranks every finding by risk and says what to fix first.

What we test

  • Websites and web applications, including business logic
  • Servers and network equipment
  • Internet-facing services
  • Assets and entry points found during mapping

What you receive

  • A vulnerability report with a risk level for each finding
  • A prioritized remediation plan
  • Support for your technical team while they fix the vulnerabilities

Suited to

  • Organizations with a website or web-based system
  • Infrastructure with internet-facing services
  • Software that needs a security review before release
  • Teams that need a prioritized list before hardening

Penetration testing services

Websites and web applications

Common web vulnerabilities, plus flaws in the business logic that scanners miss.

Network and infrastructure

Servers, network devices and internet-facing services examined from an attacker's point of view.

Asset mapping

The first step: finding out which assets and entry points you have exposed.

Risk-ranked report

Each vulnerability with its risk level and a remediation plan in priority order.

Initial check

Request a first look at your website or system through the form, and we tell you what we found.

Remediation help

We stay with your technical team while they fix the findings.

How a penetration test runs

  1. 1

    Scope

You name the websites, systems or IP ranges in scope.

  2. 2

    Mapping

We identify the exposed assets and entry points.

  3. 3

    Testing

Each target is probed with the methods real attackers use.

  4. 4

    Report

Findings arrive ranked by risk, and we help your team fix them.

Frequently asked questions

What does a penetration test report include?

The report lists the vulnerabilities found, the risk level of each finding and a prioritized remediation plan, so your technical team knows which fixes to start first.

How is the scope of a penetration test set?

The websites, systems or IP ranges to be tested are agreed with you before work begins, and testing stays within that scope.

What is the initial security check?

It is a first look at your website or system, requested through the form, after which we tell you what the initial assessment found. It can serve as the starting point for scoping a full penetration test.

How is penetration testing different from hardening?

A penetration test finds the weaknesses and ranks them. Hardening removes them by changing configurations, restricting access and installing updates. The two usually follow one another.
